Stimulation of points in the integrated circuit of major meridians or unitary channels 1
According to Starwynn, stimulation of unitary channels to treat pain by using microcurrent involves the following principles:
• Treatment through the opposite quadrants;
• Observation of the Law of Polarity, which establishes the
relation between electric current and the natural polarity of the body.
• Use of frequencies that vibrate in the same level as the region under treatment.
With the observation of these principles and the application
of minimal intensities, similar to those performed by the body in its physiological mechanisms, the therapeutic success is bigger and longer lasting.
Stimulation of points situated in the major meridians has proved useful in the treatment of pain in the shoulder, elbow, hips, knee and ankle.
